December 2018
A super busy month with incredible workshops. First up, I directed a reading of The Golden Spike, book by Don Nguyen and music by The Lobbyists, a new musical exploring the history of the transcontinental railroad. Second, as part of my fellowship with New York Theatre Workshop, I worked on Sofya Levitsky-Weitz' sexy as hell play This Party Sucks. Jacob Brandt and Hannah Fairchild wrote music for it. Finally, I presented a reading of Love of My Life, a play about two Korean girls' soulmate friendship at boarding school that I wrote & directed, at the Starr Reading Series at Bushwick Starr. So proud and grateful for everything I got to do this year and just hope to keep on creating in 2019!
